The aftermath of any kind of abuse can leave a kind of grief that is especially lonely. You may have felt that there was no one who really understood you. Feelings of isolation, grief, or anger are normal, and are part of the healing process. You are not alone. Many others have experienced these emotions after the trauma of abuse, neglect and violence.

Most particularly, I have specialized training and many years experience counselling survivors of domestic violence, and all forms of child abuse and neglect. I also have specific training in addiction counselling, including Adult Children of Alcoholics (ACOA), and codependency.

I am available to see you without waiting weeks, and can help you now, even if you are in a crisis. I have a Master's Degree in Counselling, plus additional certification on specific to counselling survivors of domestic assault, child abuse, and Adult Children of Alcoholics. Counselling for survivors is very specific to the needs of survivors.

My fee is based on a sliding scale, and certainly I will still be glad to see you if you need help but may be unemployed. You can regain self-esteem, confidence, control of your life, victory over traumatic memories, and hope.
